The meeting was called by the board to affirm the status of Busia County Health workers to address their concerns and to avert a looming national strike.
Mrs Obore said that they have to submit a report on concerns raised by health workers to Council of Governors (CoG).
She added that they are working towards ensuring that the health workers within Busia are well motivated to deliver all important essential services in line with health protocol.
The key issue to be addressed include promotion and redesignation.
Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) Busia chapter Secretary Mr Isaiah Omondi lauded the board for its efforts towards reaching a reconciliatory position.
"We are ready to work as a team for better service delivery to Busia residents," he said.
Dr Dominic Ayaa, member of CPSB appreciated the Union officials for embracing dialogue and not being money minded.
Also present were board members Mondelane Musundi, Patrick Afwande , Thomas Taka, Director Martin Sikolia and officials of Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO), Kenya Medical Laboratory Officers (KUCO), KNUN and Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist union (KMPDU).
