Street lightling programme
The County Government through the Energy Directorate has installed over 300 solar powered masslights in marketcentres across the county which has prolonged working hours for traders within the county.
The Energy Directorate through their partnership with the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) has connected over 3000 households across the county to the Main Electricity grid.
The Energy Directorate through their partnership with KUDURA Power East Africa has connected over 2200 households in Off-grid areas such as Osieko, Mumbaka, Mudoriko, Akadetewai, Sidonge among others with Solar Microgrids across the Count
