Mr George Olakitar joined the Busia County Public Service Board in February 2023. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management at Mount Kenya University in the year 2018. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Education Science at Mount Kenya University in the year 2015.He is also a holder of Diploma in Educational Management from Kenya Institute of Management Studies in the year 2010.

He joined county government of Busia in the year 2014 until 2023 where he worked as Ward Administrator. In 2007- 2014, he worked with ministry of education as KNUT deputy Executive Secretary. Mr. George Olakitar worked as AG KNUT Executive Secretary 2011-2014.
