Former Busia Education CEC picked for MCA nomination slot


Former  Busia County Executive Committee Member for Education and Vocational Training  Azida Ali  has been picked  by her Ford Kenya Party  for Member of the County Assembly  nomination slot for gender top up.

Ford-K has nominated 34 people in total.  On the  list includes  Tawakal Hotel proprietor  Halima Hussein. Nominated MCA Bethlet Oduma  is set for   nomination  for second time. Also on the list is 2013 Women Rep aspirant Cynthia Mutere.

Busia County  chairperson Orange  Democratic  Movement  Women League  Angela Nafula Ong’ura  leads in the orange party list of  35 people nominated for gender top up.

Others on the list includes former  nominated Councilor Margaret Aluku, Women League chairpersons  Florence Owuori (Butula),  Florence Ologi (Matayos), Immaculate Adhiambo (Teso South), Margaret  Kamito (Nambale), Fozia Issa  (vice chair Teso North)  and County delegates  Margaret Omondi, Marcela Odende  and Sella Aoko. ODM  Teso South youth leader  Abdalla Isaa  is also in the list.

 ODM  County chairman Patrick  Obongoya is in the list of  ethnic minority nominees to the County Assembly . The list also includes  top  county blogger Daniel Luchu, ODM nominee for the youth.

Jubilee has released a list of  25 nominees to the Assembly. They include  chairman Jubilee Party Busia County Vincent Okochil and  County vice secretary James Peter Omuke.

Wiper  Democratic Movement  has  picked  four nominees among them including the daughter of  Teso North parliamentary  candidate  Fred Okademi, Nancy.
